Senior Banking & Finance Solicitor | 4–7 PQE | Birmingham | Hybrid Working
I’m currently working with an industry leaving law firm that is looking to expand its Banking & Finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE who is keen to gain exposure to a broad mix of finance work within a highly regarded and growing team.
The Opportunity
You’ll advise on a wide range of transactions including:
General corporate lending
Acquisition and leveraged finance
Real estate finance
Project finance
Asset-based lending
The team acts for major UK financial institutions (including clearing and challenger banks), specialist lenders and a wide range of borrower clients both in the UK and internationally.
There is particularly strong activity in:
Private equity and acquisition finance
Real estate finance across acquisitions, investment and development projects
This role offers genuine breadth of work and the chance to be closely involved in high-quality, complex transactions.
About You
You’ll ideally have previous experience within a recognised banking or finance team and be comfortable managing matters with appropriate supervision.
Key attributes include:
Strong technical capability and sound commercial judgement
Experience drafting and negotiating finance documentation (including facility and credit agreements, LMA documentation etc.)
Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A proactive and motivated approach to career development
